I just finished putting the .40 over Wiseco high comp. piston and Stage 1 Hotcam in. Runs good. Valves are a lil noisy. Should I go ahead and tighten them up a lil bit?

 

It's a quick fix, so I'd say go ahead and do it. It takes less than an hour and you'll have peace of mind.

 

Yeah nowhere near an hour LOL, cuz I never put the plastic or anything back on. Pop the gas tank off and im there. Think i'll go ahead and do it like ya said.

 

Well I tightened them up a lil bit and they still got a small tick. Probably normal for the bigger valve lash for the cam i'd say correct? This thing is sick, 2nd gear blip throttle just a hair and the thing is on the back 2 wheels all day. Jetting seems to be right on. Has a bog when I goose it from 1/4 throttle up. Gonna move the clip down 1. Very happy with the build.
Going to sell it now though that I got my 700R Special Edition. Anyone interested?

 

Well I moved the clip down 1 on the needles. If you mash it pretty good from almost no to 1/8 throttle still BOGGS out. Do I need a smaller needle? Only one more spot left to move clip then it will be all the way at bottom. Doesn't seem like it is the pilot. Any opinions?
