Default 87 warrior

I am used to more slow bogging in the mud just seams a little to hi geared but I sure am going to keep practicing.

if the gearing is that high that it gives you trouble you could get a smaller front sprocket/bigger rear sprocket to gear it down, but your top speed will suffer and you'll be shifting more often.

Is there any special oil I should use? I am going to do some service and maintance on it. Also , not that it matters much, the machine is registered as a 89. Where do I find a production date?

It's best to use motorcycle or atv specific motor oil because the clutch and transmission shares the same oil as the rest of the motor, and modern motor oil usually has moly in it, which will make your clutch slip like a greased fat kid on a wet marble floor.

There's no production year directly stamped on the quad anywhere, but part of the serial number stamped on the frame and engine is a date code. Although I don't know exactly how to decipher this code, I'm pretty sure Speedy could help you figure it out.
