Yesterday a couple of friends and I went to one of their grandpas farm to ride around. Anyway, it was mostly just cow pasture land, about 150 open acres, and about 50 acres of woods, and one "medium" sized jump. We were all being wusses at the begging and jumping maybe in second or third gear and flying about 4 feet high and maybe 15-20 feet long, then me (400ex) and one of the guys (banshee) were like, screw this sh*t we want some air. So we started hitting this thing hard, like 4th gear hard and man did we fly. The guys who were watching us told us we were about 12 feet off of the ground and then we measured where we were landing and my best was 62 and his was 57. We couldn't jump any further than that cause after about 60 feet it was a flat, hard landing. I found that out on my long one. Ouch!

I'll have to look and see what I have...
There are several guys at the local track that jump that thing... Some of them even do mini- nacnacs and tricks like that. A guy told me that there was a Raptor out there last week jumping that long double in the picture. Cool!

Dig around on my website.

I have some pics of myself very similar to the one Bash posted...

Unfortunately I don't have pics of some of my biggest jumps ever at the sand dunes...

Hey Scott, that's some pretty scary looking form in that pic, did he get it under control and land it?

As smooth as silk.

There are some real yahoos around here. They jump them all, 250rs, 400exs and Banshees over that long finish line double.

I saw a 250r/CT330 jump it one time and the landing was absolutely as smooth at you could imagine. The funny thing was that just after the end of the down ramp, one of the rear wheels along with about 1 foot of axle decided to depart from the quad and roll on in another direction. It was wild seeing it happen.

Here's a couple of other guys getting huge air on that gigantic double.

Keep in mind, I was standing closer to the bleacher seats, above the actual jump. If I'd been on the ground, it would look even higher.
