Default removing carb on warrior

I'm removing the carb on my 98 warrior so a friend can rebuild for me. I can easily see how to get off the fuel and air hookups, but I need help in how to remove the throttle linkage. I don't want to screw up the throttle cable. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

take the 6 screws off...

push the thing with the cable toward where the cable came int othe carb from.. then the cable should kink(somehwhat and it should make a hill type loop... the cable then uplls out through a slit and out.. take the big part off and save it DON'T LOSE IT... then unscrew the part on the outside of the cab and pull the cable out...

Thanks for the help. Got everything off except the blasted screw holding the cable onto the side of the carb. Its like its welded on! Plus it seems like its made of play doh, it strips way too easy.
