Yamaha unveils raptor 800r !!!
The raptor 800r is powered by an liquid-cooled, 800cc four-stroke motor. The quad has electric start, a six-speed gearbox, a 34.8-inch seat height, and boasts a dry weight of 242 pounds.
Yamaha racing tweaked its competition machines, shaving 10 pounds off the weight of the 800r, and giving the 800r an all-new aluminum frame and swingarm that provide better handing and reduced weight.

Yamaha unveils raptor 800r !!!
i see its a joke, but if anyone believed this they would have to be dumb, why would they release an 800 when their 700 is only a year old this winter? they will let it sell for 3-4 years untill everybody wants something bigger. 660 came out in 2001 i believe? and 2005 came the 700. makes sense to me

wat pisses me off is a majority of the people who always want a bigger quad never even have the room to unleash its potential, like think aobut it once u get to the 450s and the raptor 660 range any bigger and u wont notice a huge difference on most trails. The ones i ride most of the time my warrior and my freinds blaster keep up with a quadzilla and banshee easily, its all rider ability so there is no need to get like a 800 raptor in most cases, people do unleash the power but not near half the people who want bigger quads actually use the power. thopught i would just get that off my chest
