I believe the quad was impounded.......if you think it can't happen better think again....I had to fish my truck out of a state police impound once cause it was @ a field party.....I had left it an went with some friends...came back and no truck.....the property owner was my friends dad so we know I was aloud there.....they also kept saying you need to speak to officer so and so and he is on vacation or what-not......sucks but I was young and dumb... I do respect the cops and I think all I had to pay is a tow fee...rather than storage and all ....not sure but .....I hope they can do the right thing in this cause taking a quad...even if you did ride it down the road is wrong plain and simple....maybe they got caught up in the terminator movie marathon that week...not sure

At this exact time they were screwing with you, I wonder how many real crimes were happening.
I know everybody in your town now feels safer now that your quad is not on the street on 5 gallon buckets having its tires changed. How much tax payer money did it take to have 1 unmarked car and 3 patrol cars there.
Crap like this is what alienates the younger generation from cops and who can blame them. There are a lot of great policemen but those few power hungry jerks need to realize the harm they are inflicting on the reputation of all policemen.

aye.... this is a cool story. i cannot ride my quad in the street in front of my house for one second because i have a cop that lives about 4 houses down from me. it really sux.... because even if i do ride it really quick, put it in the garage, and then shut the garage door.... he knows that it is me! it sux. but yeah, cops can be real dick heads sometimes... but for the few cool ones out there, this does not apply to you, you guys rock.for the rest, get a life. go help out some old person or something. its not like we want to make trouble, or its not like we will get in a wreck as soon as we ride onto a "public" road. we just want to ride... not make trouble! later guys,

In Arizona all it takes is a mirror, a horn, and about $150.00 for vehicle license, insurance and registration and you can ride your quad on the interstate or any where else you little heart desires.
It's weird to pull up to a red light and look over to see a Z-400 and Banshee sitting next to you.
