the 700r still makes about 52hp stock so even with the ds 650 lighter with the rotax 650 engine it still wouldnt matter. Besides the yamaha's respond much better to aftermarkets. dont confuse crank hp with rwhp. big difference raptor at about 52 crank is about 40 rwhp stock. add pipe and filter and your 45hp.

 

If a DS650 was 100pounds lighter it would be right beside a 700raptor. The grizzly motor and raptor motor are the same!!!
