600 grizz revs but wont move
#1
Hey all....
Im brand new to the forum, but its already helped me out quite a bit with my machine. We just got back from camping, and right as we were leaving i ran through a few puddles that were about 2 feet deep. When we got the bike home every time you give it some throttle, it just revs but bearly putts along, almost like when your tranny is going out in a car. We ran it for a bit and as it got warm it started running a bit better, but whenever its cold it wont even move until its warmed up it just revs. Any ideas?
Thanks In advance

Its probably only the belt. But if a new belt doesnt fix it, i would check the obove post

At the bottom edge of the cover over the cvt...theres a small plug..pull it out, and if water comes out, you should at the minimum, remove the cover and look things over. If its just wet, and fairly clean...remove the belt and wash it in soapy water, let it dry, and clean the faces of the sheaves, put it back together and it should be fine.
If you find mud or dirty water, then you should also clean and relube the clutch weights.
