Default New to forums need advice!

Hey all! I am new to this forum and need some advice on pipes. I own a 660R 2004. I bought it new and have not done anything to it, except tires and wheels. I grew up riding 250 bayou's. I rode mainly in the dirt and mountian trails as a boy. I now live on the coast and do alot of dune riding. I am concerned over DB as Oregon has some of the most strict noise laws. I am considering a yoshi pipe/header, and K&N filter, ect. Any advice would be great.

well i dunno how much money you wanna spend.. But for $750.00 bucks you can get a set of barker duels and i think there the best pipe on the market...The only reason im running drag pipes on mine.. Is becouse mine runs better with drags...But you haveing a stock set up barkers will help alot.. and there not very loud at all.. they sound really good..

Im not sure if the yosh combo is the way to go if you have db restrictions. Yosh's are some of the loudest pipes, most going over 100db. You would want to find a pipe with a quiet insert, I'm not sure if Yosh has a quiet insert or not.

Barker duals will not pass db restrictions without the horribly restrictive quiet cores, and even then I'll bet $$$ they're over the 96db limit most dune areas have.

Yoshi has a great quiet core insert kit that really hushes it down, well enough to get into the dunes without a problem. It's also about half the price of the barkers.
