My quad has been running a little hot should I try stepping down to a cooler plug? I am running the biggest jet in the dyno jet kit....and may be a little lean still

 

Spark plugs dont create heat..they only remove heat. If the motor is running hot, id look into other reasons why.
If the spark plug burns clean, youve got the correct one in there. The heat range has to do with how easily the spark plug burns the deposits on the tip.
