Default CDI boxes????

hya, erm if you don't get peak Hp at max rpm why would you want a CDI box? i thought they only added about 1000rpm. what advantage is this?does it give a higher top speed towards the end of the gear or something?because even if this is so then don't you reach the top of the gear before you hit max rpm? there must be some advantage to having them but im not really sure what it is. . . . . . .any help?cheers

They advance the timing. Trust me, they are well worth it, and you will definately notice a power increase!!!

On the horribly timing altered kawasaki v-twin you have, yes. But it doesn't do much for the raptor at all, the timing differences do not translate into a noticeable change in performance.
