Ya i was going to get the headers coated in this special coating to increase flow but as far as the slip on goes most likely it will end up on ebay. I dont know why people come here and lie about there pipes and how much of a difference they make when you can hardly feel it. I am not even gonna waste my time with a full system its not worth the extra noise. I should of known when i was beating piped quads with my tuned stock quad

well i havent jeted it yet or put a k&n on it. I wonder if you would see a big difference if you put a powerfull fan on the intake and one on the exhaust? kinda like a turbo. I wonder if it would be worthwile to put a 80 MM 150CFM computer fan on the intake. You could do it up real neat and even hide it in the snorkle. all you would have to do would be to tap into a power source.

Keep the electronics in the computer and stop complaining about a pipe when you didn't bother to change the filter setup or rejet it.

Aright i got a yoshimura rs3 slip on that is in mint condition and put it on my bike. Other than that my quad is stock and the thing runs just as good as stock and maby a bit worse. I am very disapointed in this pipe because i had people telling me i will atleast gain like 4 HP and i dint get nothing. Now I realize there may be a litle bit in the jeting and i am going to try A k&n filter but I know what lean is and i know my raptor is not runing lean or it may be on the edge of lean. People even told me I was going to see better throtle responce but i did not see an inprovement. Do you think that jeting will help pick up that HP I am not geting because as it lookes right now, i dont see why you people put on loud pipes for like no HP gains. Even with jets and a K&n I dont see how you could get half the HP numbers some of you are geting. This pipe thing is way over rated. Some help or commit on this subject would be great thanks rob

Sorry your disappointed with your results but nobody lied to you or blew smoke up your a$$. The simple truth is that this is completely normal. When you add a pipe w/o rejetting, your quad WILL be slower in most cases and in ALL cases with the 660.
All I can tell you is don't **** and moan if your not going to do the job right. I hate to brag but (here I go again) I had a piped 660 that NEVER been beat by another piped quad........period.
Now go buy youself a fistfull of jets and be prepared to tear it down quite a few times and when you get it right, you'll know it.........
.........and if its still not good enough, sell that crappy slip on, buy a FULL exhaust (aka; HMF), a Pro-flow K&N, lose the lid, and a Dynojet kit (with bigger DJs) and if your still not , then no piped quad will..............The difference between a fast Rappy and a slow one is mostly in the jetting. Most people have a hard time getting the duel carbs set up right!

ya my raptor was great from the factory, the jetting is dead on i just had to mess with air/fuel and turn the jets to get it dead on. I also adjusted the valves and clean the carb alot. I will put jets in it and also try my fan thing. I know how to jet them but the thing is it is not running to lean just lean and engins are most powerfull when there lean , Its not to lean so i dont think 10 sizes is going to make a wopping difference. Ill bet it is mostly the k&n that will pick it up.
