HI

I have a 2005 Kodiak and I replaced the air box twice. Is anyone els with the same prblem.look at the air box with the cover off and see if the edge of the box is strait then look at it with the cover on and try to look at the front and the cover is probably not sealing OK

Thanks

Prolly from heat from the motor, try getting a heat shield to put under it.

Mine doesnt fit really well either, but as long as the filter is mounted correctly, it should be ok. You could try using a piece of duct tape, to seal over the gap.

I dont think that is normal to have to put tape on the air box to seal it.I think that we should talk to your dealer or put a complain to yamaha direct so they could rectafy the problem.Yes I did put heat tape and muffler tape but it still warp. The part that is warping is the side and the front.

Thanks for the replies
Mike
