I phone my rep about every few days and ask him and he's always like, "i'm supposed to hear today, or I'll let you know tommorow, or "you'll receive a message on your YCN shortly regarding it etc. well no word, sorry I can't help you guys, some of us dealers here have Grizzly 700's but we can't sell them or drive them, all we can do is let em sit there and collect dust which aint what there for, sad sad sad, hopefully soon we'll know, i'll keep you guys posted.

My dealer said the same thing to me today. The wait is driving me nuts especially when I sold my 04 already.

 

sounds like the engineer that designed can-ams shifter might have a new job at yamaha. out of all the things to go wrong........
thats too bad, cant wait til their out on the trails.

 

UPDATE............Good News, got a message on YCN from yamaha canada, problem has been resolved, few minor mods are being made, there will be a few specs changes it said, but full production ready grizzly 700s shipping will start august 14th, 2006. the initial shipment will require the dealer to do the updates, and parts for that will be sent to them, after the initial one, the updates will be done from the factory, and they ended it with saying yamaha is confident the new grizzly 700 will exceed your customers expectations of being the toughest, most off road capable atv on the market. so anways, here come the grizzly's, hope this is some relief for you guys waiting.

Just thought I would give the topic a bump since today is the 14th and hopefully the 700 Grizz's will finally start showing up. If anyone gets one, or rides one, give us a shout.

 

i just called the dealer and they said they should be here the 2nd or 3rd week in august??? so maybe that means later this week??

 

any idea on the price out the door?

 

prolly around 8k + or - a few hundred
