404 Big bore

Default 404 Big bore

yes it is that time i have some $$..i am looking to get a big bore for my banshee where would be the best place to find one? and how much am i looking at to do it? planning on doing it myself except the machin work like cylinder honedetc..any ideas thanks..oh and how much of a diffrence does the big bore make..what are some of the speeds people got to..i have toomey t-5 exhaust and holeshots..thanks

Default 404 Big bore

Just a good port job will do wonders.

FA.S.T. Racing done mine and my friend's banshees.Mine is drag ported and my friend got a dune port.His' runs extremely good considering he hasn't got larger carbs yet.He run an 8.26 at our local 1/8th mile track the first weekend he took it.It's still rideable too.
