97 Wolverine Carb Question

97 Wolverine Carb Question
I have a 98 Wolverine. Last fall the Needle valve seat gave out and Gas flooded out of the bottom of the Carb. This Spring I took the Carb off and got a new Needle and Seat from Yamaha along with a new oring.
I have installed the new needle and seat. But I have distrubed the original Air/Fuel Screw setting on the bottom of th Carb. I tried to reset it but have not been able to get the Wolverine to run without the Choke pulled out.
I have the A/F screw set at two full turns out now and the Wolverine will idle well when warmed up when the choke is pulled out to the midway position. But as soon as I push the Choke all the way in (Off) it dies immediately.
Do I need to turn the A/F screw out more or back in more ? Does turning it out make it richer and turning it in make it leaner.
Any help from anyone, appreciated.
