i have a 04 raptor 660 and the carbs are draining gas out of the drain hole while the engine is idling as soon as u give it gas it is fine
5th gear boggs a little also is the carb fauling causeing it
it is the carb on the right side the left siode did it at first but stopped

 

sounds like you are running it too rich. Try leaning out with the mixture screw, but if that isn't enough you'll need to get a smaller jet

 

little more info i took the gas tank off checking the valves long story but anyways did not rejet the carbs working fine before i took the tank off soon as i put the tank back on it was a river of gas going through the carbs

 

Check ur float, doesnt sound like a jetting prob.

 

Try taking the carb apart and cleaning it up a little bit... like sparky said, it does sound like your float is getting stuck. Cleaning to carb should fix you right up!

Yeah, if that's all you've done, then the float is stuck, I'm suprised it started though. Also check to make sure it isn't upsidedown or bent, I've seen both cause similar effects
