Monster, what I gather about fuels is that they are saftey measures. What I mean is the more octane you run the less chance you have of detonating your motor. Higher compression motors or power adders require more octane because there being run harder.

You probably wont notice any difference in hp on your bike by running a higher octane of fuel. But you will notice a difference in your wallet. 110 race fuel runs almost $10 a gallon around here.

Just run what your bike calls for. JMO

Sunoco and Vp are good fuels to run.

Just run 93 octane, a stock Raptor doesn't need race fuel.

ya just run the high end pump gas. Thats all I run in my yfz, and it is the minimum. The race gas isnt worth the price unless your bike is pumped.

Default race gas???

Welcome to the forum MONSTERMATT! I use a mix of 100 octane(1.5 gallons) with 92 octane(3.5 gallons) in all my 2 strokes. My Thumpers run 92 octane with no problems.

I've ran U4 in the past. Due to it being oxiginated you will have to up your fuel curve and around here it's about $7.50-$8 a gallon. I don't know about you but that's alot of $$ for a very minimal gain.
