you could search this forum for more info on parts for warriors, just type in "Warrior" on the search bar and you should get alot of links to threads about it

But from what i'm gathering the 87 was different from the others so its hard to find parts for. Or will all warrior parts interchangre. Also where is the best place to find an owners/ repair manuel? And the cheapest place for parts. one last thing..... is the warrior a good quad to invest in and fix up (i.e. rebuilt and bore new suspesion...) or should i ride it for awhile and buy something newer like a 400ex or raptor.

From what I was told, the swingarm mounts and the swingarm itself are not the same as 1988 or 1989 on.. I forget when they changed it. The headlights moved of course.. I think everything else is the same.

I have intimate knowledge of the 87 Warrior. There is quite a bit of difference between the 86-88 and 89-present warriors. The 86-88 warriors have different frame, arms, shocks, spindles, calipers, front rotors, axle nuts (rear) swingarms, carriers, sprocket carriers and rear rotor carriers.

87 warrior shocks are 13 3/4 inch eye to eye 89-now are 14 1/4
87 a arms have replacable ball joints, 89 - now do not and 89- now arms wil not fit 86-88 so no +2 arms for 86-88
rear sprocket for 86-88 is 4 bolt while 89-now are six bolt, 86-88 require special rear sprocket

Common rumor " Banshee and Warrior parts are the same" reality very few parts fit. I learned most of this doing my wifes 440ex Warrior conversion.
