I am wanting a cam for my raptor. I was thinking about a hotcam b/c I have the hotrods 396 stroker kit. I ride on open roads alot and drg race it. What would be better the stage 1 or 2? Thanks.

 

Well they did not make a stage 2 for a warrior..and i really dont think they make one for a rappy 350 but im not sure.

 

stage 1 gives you more low end power, stage 2 gives you more middle and top end power

 

I honestly wouldn't even go with hotcam. Go with Powroll, Megacycle, or Web.

ive never heard of powroll or megacycle, i havent heard much of web, caliraptor has had a stage 1 hotcam and it didnt give him any problems and right now he has a stage 2 and it sounds great, id go with hotcam

 

Ill check around and look at prices.

 

I'm not saying that Hotcam is a bad brand, but I know a few people with big bore / stroker Warrior and Raptor 350's whom have had better performance out of Powroll and Megacycle. I haven't heard much of Web either, but I know they are a reputable company.
