rejet for a k@n?

Default rejet for a k@n?

i was just wondering if you need to rejet if you but a k@n and run it with no lid??

I have a K&n and didnt rejet, it runs fine. They are jetted rich from the factory usually so a K&N evens it out.

I think you need to go ahead and pull your plugs and see how your fuel is burning..Just to be on the safe side..If it is white your lean you need to jet up one size..If it is still tan your ok...And if it is black and wet your rich..{Just thoughing that in there} Its always better to be safe than sorry..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

The rule of Thumb is for a new filter of ANY kind, you dont need to rejet. K&N website even says you shouldnt have to

Default rejet for a k@n?

If you took the airbox lid off I'm almost sure you'll need to rejet, if you leave it on you might be ok but you should watch it.

I agree. Most the filters say no jetting required if you run the lid on, you take it off I would with out doubt check your plug.
