Yep, expensive, I know. It was either do that or be miserable due to the very harsh ride. My buddy rode it (who owns a Warrior) and he couldn't wait to get back on his old quad since the stock suspension is so stiff. I'm sure that he would like it now. Im going to try and install the clutch kit myself after I look at it, I should have all the tools to do it I think. I might have to borrow a torque wrench from a buddy though.
I believe it will arrive today.
Make sure you get the gasket that they recommend to have on hand if you try to do it yourself.
Between the kit and gasket it was 193.00 at my Yamaha dealer. About 15.00 cheaper than buying straight from epi and no shipping.

Cool, if you can take pics that would be even better! Either way please post up the results and any info that we might need regarding the necessary tools, etc. Thanks!

If you are talking about tax and freight in that price as well I would say that is very good. My "regular" blue 2006 one was $5750 out the door after everything.

Yes, that?s including tax, lic., green sticker, everything. Plus it came with a 24 mo. warranty.

Okay, I have installed the Elka kit. As I said earlier, I was never real happy with the harsh ride from the factory suspension and even though it was expensive I am *very* pleased with the kit. The front is just a standard replacement shock and preload adjustable spring, and the rear is with remote resovoir and compression and rebound adjustability. I am pretty much set on where it needs to be for the combination of rutted out trails, rocks, and some muddy areas. Unlike the stock parts, it's comfortable over a wide varity of terrain and still won't bottom out unless I try to get crazy air, but that isn't what this quad was made for. I have also noticed a great increase in traction over most terrain as well. I will follow up with more info as I get some more time on it but I don't regret it one minute. The customer service is great and the order shipped on time as promised.
