Grizz problem
Mine had trouble starting the other day. It turned over fine but wouldn't fire for nothing. I checked to see if it was getting spark and it was. I made sure I had the fuel turned on and it was which led me to believe that either a float was sticking or the choke was sticking. It was most likely the choke since it died when i tried adjusting it. I tapped on the carburetor a bit and it freed itself up. It started fine after that.

Never heard of this yet, but let see what we can figure out, next your go to start it, take a volt meter on put on battery should have around 12.5 volts, try and start it and see what it read if it drops past 10 volts battery is junk.
Have you pull the clutch cover off of it, maybe something fell down one of the snokles. When it does turn over do it make any unusaul sounds, yamaha is know for starter clutchs going bad.

Its not the carberator,iv had my floats stick before.when that happened it would still turn over. When mine "seizes" it wont even turn over.It ties to once then makes some sort of compression noise, then i put it in gear and try to roll it around a bit and eventually somthing breaks free and it starts firing again.Im gonna ckeck my clutch and recoil starter,Thanks for your suggestions ill let you know if i figure it out
