I have a 00 kodiak and am glad to say I like it so much that our family all pitched in to buy my 62 year old father one (2001) for a christmas gift. We paid $6,500 for the quad,tax,winch,helmet,registration,setup and the first service ( I'm sure he would rather have a raptor or banshee but I don't want to get spanked every time we ride) Since we each have one, a Clymer or equivalent manual would be helpful. Does any one know how to get one and how much they cost? Thanks

 

You need to get the Yamaha one. I got mine through the Dealer for around $40.00. I have researched Clymer and others and they are not doing the Kodiak yet. The Yamaha book is very good.

 

Hey rock I still have not been able to get a service manual from my dealer.I took your advice before and checked around at several dealers all them said they were backordered at Yamaha.I hope they come in sometime.

 

My Yamaha manual for my 2000 Kodiak has been on backorder for ~3months now. This is as bad as the wait for the speedometer kit!!
