Nobody???????? Has anybody ever heard of BUB exhaust? Do you guys think I will be better than with stock tires? Or about the same as before I put the 27 inch Bear claws.

I agree with up grading your machine (jets exaust filter etc.) but you can do it much cheaper elsewhere, taking to the stealer is probably the most expensive way to go.

Grab the parts and do it yourself. Very satisfying. If you screw it all up...then take it in.
Slip on is very easy to install. Never heard of BUB, but if it's a good unit, it will come with all the clamps and hardware you need

Bub actually has a web page. www.bub.com I seriously doubt a slip on exhaust is going to compensate for 27" tires on a 450 though. Too bad you didn't do a timed 0 to 50 mph run with stock tires, and then repeat it with the 27" tires and the Bub exhaust and jet kit installed.

I was thinking of putting 26" ITP MudLite XTR on my 2006 Kodiak, how much power did you lose, a lot. I might just stick with 25"

i run 26" mud lites no prob on trails and mild mud.
in the thick mud like up to my fenders i use low , not high , just seems a little had in high. but the tires are awsome though, great in the mud. and in the gravel pits.

???? Most Bikes and Atv's come on the lean side from the factory. Emissions testing has made the factorys lean them out to pass. A simple add on such as an air filter (k&n for ex) will allow more air and lean out the a/f ratio even more. JMO but on all my race bikes fueling is very important and even some stock motors benifit from a jet kit or rejetting. If you ride in the summer and your jetting is good, when you ride in the winter (if you do) you will run leaner due to the colder denser air.
