will a 89-04 hitch fit on a 87 .if not can somebody tell me were to get one for a 87

 

Unfortunately the axle carrier on the 87 is smaller in diameter than the one on the 89-up models, and the hitch is designed to attach to the carrier with 2 big u-bolts around it so the newer hitch won't work on the older models. However, you can buy a hitch made for the 87 and 88 at www.rockymountainatv.com for $25, but it's currently out of stock.
