Default Gas gage not working...

Hello. I'm having problems with the digital gas gage on my grizz. It is a 2004 with 800 kms .The gage blinks like it is empty but it's half full .I have had the problem for some time.Even when it's full it will show full then in a minute or two it will show empty.I have had it stall and won't start .So I switch to reserve and it will start again.I beleive it to be a sensor in the tank or something..Any ideas?Any one have had this problem?Does the gage showing empty cause the bike to stall and not run even though it is half full?

Ok, let me get this straight. You don't get an answer to your first question you ask, in the first day you ask it, and you're complaining that the forum is not helpful? So what have you contributed to the forum? Yeah that's right, nothing. Not everybody gets a chance to check the forums every day, and how can you just expect somebody to know why your gas gauge doesn't work? It's definitely not a common problem.

Gas Gauge not working... I have had the same thing happen on my 06 Grizzly. I live in a very dry climate in the mountains. It happens when the gauge gets wet from the rain. Let it dry for a few days it starts working right again. In a humid climate it might compond the problem. Just a thought.
