Default blaster problems

hey guys i have a 01 blaster for some reason after i run it for about 30 minutes or so the piston seems to keep locking up in the piston but after it sits for about 20 minutes its fine i pulled the cylinder and piston out and had everything checked out and everything is fine and i dont really want to do a top end again i only have about 3 months on it now(i dont ride it every day just on the weekends). Its bore .4 now and it has had porting done and jetting ,fmf gold series front pipe and fmf power core II silencer on it 1/2 reed spacer and boysen reeds stock carb and intake oil block off kit running 93 octane fuel with amsoil hp injector 2.6ozs of oil to a gallon does anybody have any thoughts or ideas on what could be causing this problem

Are you sure its the piston?
You need to do a compression test.

i know this may seem out there but u sure that ur air fuel mixture is right cause if your riding for 30 minutes and it quits it may be drowning its self. otherwise your top end may be F. Also it could have bad rings. i would check carb.

The compression of a stock blaster is 140 to 160 psi. Does it die or does it actually lock up where you can't even kick it over.

Those numbers i believe are very wrong. A milled head banshee gets 150psi of compression. I believe a blaster should be around 115psi. If you have another gauge available use it to recheck your numbers. Checked your reeds lately?

Do you have the correct piston and rings for the overbore.
