Default Yamaha Blaster E-Brake?

Ok i'm guessing the E-brake is when you push down the button in front of the clutch handle and pull in the clutch and secure it with the little metal bracket. Well I am a little stumped because when i do this the bike still rolls freely when in neutral. When i first bought it, it would lock the back wheels. Now, nothing. I have the e-brake cable and clutch cable adjusted all the way out and it still doesnt work. When i pull the handle the little lever on the back brake caliper moves. Is there a way to fix/adjust this on the caliper itself or what?

The ebrake is worthelss, thats what they make ratchet straps for. Take it off and get a e-brake blockoff.

I did remove the emergency/parking brake on my Banshee because I only ride it in the dunes and it was never used plus I prefered the clean look without TORS and parking brake. However with my 400EX which gets ridden in all types of terrain I use the parking brake all the time. Parking brakes have adjustments at the clutch lever and at the rear caliper. If you adjust all the way and still get no brake then I suppose either you are doing something wrong or you have something worn or stretched beyond limits. I also think a stock bike with all factory components is worth more when time to sell.
