I also talked to a female and she asked where did I hear of this and I just said the internet(she said "great").......but I did light a fire under her A$$ cause she escalated it to a high priority status....

Actually I noticed the issue last year when my quad was new.....but I was in rare form(drunk) at the time and forgot......

Im sure they will put a damn recall out on all the bikes to re-route the auxiliary wiring. LOL!!

You could use a switch but the best way would be to install a relay to isolate the outlet from the rest of the electrical system with the key off. You could also disconnect it from the ignition power wire and rewire it direct fused/breakered to the battery....

My question would be ....could that void your warranty???

There shouldn't be any problem with warranty as long as you don't mess up and cause other damage, the easiest cure would be to disconnect the power wire from the outlet and run a new wire from the battery to power the outlet just make sure you also install a fuse or circuit breaker at the battery to protect that new wire you install from a short incase one should ever occur....

repo man? not likely.....wouldn't the 12v outlet be on more quads like the 450 wolvie then? Whoever designs the wiring on these things needs their head examined...my 2 cents
