Default blaster top end

how much does a dealership charge u for that service. i remember in the late 80's my dad got the top end done on my big wheel 80. it had 3 speeds and big wheels. it was my first machine. they put a yz piston in it. so it was a tad faster after the top end i think then they charged 280 maybe i can't remember to well.

60-80 an hour in labor more than likely. Get a quote from a dealer (they have to give you an accurate one) then see if its worth your while to get the kit and do it yourself.

Do it yourself. Twostrokes are easy to rebuild and the Blaster engine has to be the simplest of them all. Here is a link to how to do it. .Blaster Tech Tips. This site has a online service manual to help you also. If you have to get the cylinder bored send the head to get it milled for a little extra power.
