Has anyone put 22" tires on their Wolverine? Did it make much of a difference? I know most people want bigger tires but I want something faster on tight trails.

I really don't know how your going to do it, unless you can find some 22's that fit 12" dia wheels. If you try to use smaller wheels (like 10" or 9") they will hit the brakes. I guess you could run spacers that are about 5" thick, Or get some wheels that have no offset. Thats about the only way to run 22's. Sorry to spoil the mood, but I don't think most people realize that the brakes on an wolverine are inside the wheels. And changing wheels would mean that you have to clear the brakes. It's not as simple as some other quads would be.

Your Differential housing skid plate will be hitting every little oject on the trail,I thought 23" tires were to small for a 350 4wd.

Thanks for the information guys. This place is great. I'm not worried about the ground clearance issue since most sport quads have such little clearance to begin with. I did not realize the wheels were different, I guess that idea will have to go in the round file. What tires are most guys running? I want a fast setup, it will not be used for mudding or anything like that.
Thanks again.

I see you mentioned spacers..I have 26 in tires on my wolverine, I was thinking about getting spacers to lower center of gravity, but everytime I read about spacers guys are saying they are bending axles,,,Is this because they are jumping them??
I ride hard in the woods, mud, snow, but i do not jump my wolv. Would you so the probability of me bending and axle is still high?????

I don't know what to tell you about the spacers. It seems that some Woverines have a problem, some don't. Some guy's seem to bend them backing out of the garage, and others, like myself, have never had any problems. (knock on wood) The spacers would increase the leverage, but would it bend the axle? I don't know! I have lifted my Wolverine and it would be nice to have it a little wider, but I don't want to exspose the brakes to all that I ride in. So for now I'll live with the extra top heavynest of it.
