Default Best pipe for Raptor, and Edelbrock carb question

What is the best pipe setup for a raptor 660 that is bored with bigger valves and such. And will an edelbrock carb be any better than the stockers for a bored motor. I am asking because I can get a really good deal on one and I am kinda on a budjet. Thanks.

Dont waste your money on the edelbrock. Used 35mm FCR carbs can be found reasonable sometimes 39's. As far as a pipe setup the Barker exhaust is tops. From others experince the LTE comes in a close second. Sparks is prob the easiest to find single setup and works well. Call some builders they will point you in a good direction for your budget.
I have dealt with Craycraft and Barker both have been very helpfull with great customer service.

I use the LTE duals on my 01 690 and they work very well for me.The Barkers seem to be a good choice from what i have heard but i dont have any experience with them.I do know that the LTE can be made fairly quiet and still perform well with the quiet core and i dont think that the Barkers give you that option. The stock Raptor carbs can really do a good job for you if they are jetted correctly. If you are on a budget then you may want to consider using the stock carbs and investing in a non o ring chain, lightened hubs, proper gearing, and the best tires you can afford to achieve big results with small$$$$.
