That slime stuff is crap, i don't know why anybody buys it. It just makes a mess out of everything, and acts as a lubricant to help your bead slide off the wheel. Not good. I'd rather ride with a flat tire every once in a while than have to deal with that mess all the time.
That's really surprising that a dealer would recommend using slime. Anybody that has to swap tires on the wheels HATES that stuff, it just gets everywhere and is impossible to clean up.

Slime is great for tractors and lawn mowers I even had it im my trailer tires but I would never put it in a quad tire and it does make a mess. Glad to hear you got the bike fixed & I am like recon99 I will ride with flat tires before I install that stuff in any of my bikes. I got a plug kit and a co2 tire inflator and carry that around for flats wook good.

I have seen the slime stuff for sale in motorcycle shops. They say its self sealing and self balancing? I'm glad I didn't put any in my old bike. I bet it would have shaken itself apart on the freeway. Maybe you didn't ride it around long enough right after putting the slime in?
