When I saw "axle nut" I assumed the nut on the end of the axle that holds the hub. Thats what I always called the Axle Nut....my bad

Thanks guys. I got it off this morning. Just needed a little more heat on the nuts, and they came right off. They were corroded on there pretty good. I'll probably throw some anti-seize on them when I put it back together, maybe that will help. But hopefully I won't have to do this again for quite a while.

get some g-force. its a general motors lubracint, works better than pb blaster. use that, heat it with a torch, BIG PIPE for ur pipe wrench. mine got stuck on my blaster and i just heated them. took about 1 1/2 hrs till i finaly got em off. when ya sit down and think about it its sad.... takes u over an hr to take of 2 nuts.... lol

oh boy, thanks driver doyle, i indeed made a pritty dumb comment. i was thinking the completely wrong thing. now that i know what nut i am suppose to be thinking of, i would say get a pipe wrench on it, and then get a regular box wrench and use it for leverage. that will usually crack anything loose
