I've talked to several people online who have bought the new bears. I am in the market for one also. I recently just took a look in person at one and I really liked it. It's a nice size, just below the big bores and would be great for the narrow wooded trails and steep hills and offcamber sections where I ride. Seems like a solid bike with a bunch of great features. My dealer is running through them quickly as well. I was quoted 5600 for a camo model and around 5300 for red or blue. I am still looking at the KQ 450, Grizz 450, Arctic cat 400. But I really like the Big Bear and it's price. It's all the wheeler I personally will need. GL to you.

the new big bear has 22 hp stock. are you gonna gain that much hp from that piston, cam, and exhaust. just wondering because im gonna bore my wolverine and put a high compression wiscoe in it. i got an hmf pipe on it. hopefully i get that much hp out of mine. im about 4 less than the big bear stock. i think

FST claims 28HP for a Warrior with the 366 bigbore kit +2mm over 10.50.1 JE piston plus a megacycle 252X1 cam, springs, K&N filter +jets, and a good exhaust from an 18HP machine, so a bigbear with 22HP stock shouldn't be a problem to get 32 to 34 HP the only thing that will hold it back is the smaller carb of the bigbear, so then figure mabe around 30HP. I forgot the carb thing.lol

No doubt that the BB can put some bikes to shame out there. I still like to run the throttle wide open every once in a while and get a top speed of 80-90km/h. It reminds you that you are alive. My kodiak 450 is great compromise between hard worker and a fun zippy bike.
I like that yammy has figured out that almost everybody switches their stock tires to ones with bigger rubber. It probably involved a partnership with ITP. Think of the possibilities in the future!
Once again, Yamaha has set the bar with their redesigned Big Bear, and now the other manufacturers have to step up to it!
Yamaha, one hell of an innnovative ATV Company. Not too long ago the RHINO came out. Polaris is just now countering it with a sport UTV. I laugh every time. Yamaha's YFZ 450 also set the standard a few years back.
Not that I am loyal to yamaha or anything......
