Transmission went out while back in the dunes at Glamis. It was a long tow home!!! The bike is an 00 model, and has about 100 hard hrs. on it. It was running fine (no indication that the clutch was slipping or anything), and seemed to just pop into neutral. No matter what position the shifter is in (except 6th gear), it is just like it is in neutral. Once in a while you can get it into the lower gears, but as soon as you try a shift it goes back into neutral. Any ideas?? Thanks!

 

Did you ever find the answer? My blaster goes in gears 2 and 3, sometimes 1. The rest just go like its in neutral.
