Need to replace the wheel bearings and grease seals in a buddies 02 Grizzly does anyone know a aftermarket part number for the seals there 12.00 buck a piece thought the dealer thought someone must have them cheaper. I already have the bearings.

 

I get my bearings for my 02 for just over 4 bucks a piece with dual rubber seals from a local factory supply shop.

I also get my seals from them to. They are Chicago Rawhide seals, but I can't think of the part number right off the top of my mind. Take the seals out and take them to a supply store or NAPA store and they will cross reference the part number from the stock seals and get you the Chicago Rawhide seals. I've got all this info at home but I'm in college 200 miles away and don't have the info with me.

 

Thanks I did find them at Carquest part#223830 about $5.00. Now I need the right rear inter cv joint kit.

 

Is that Carquest part number for the bearings or for the seals that go in the hub after the bearings do? Just wondering so I can have the information.

 

That was the seal number.

 

Cool thanks man. By the way, where is Winchester, Indiana? I live in Butler, Indiana which is about 30 mins NE of Fort Wayne. I'm pretty much in the NE corner of Indiana. Familiar with Ft. Wayne at all?

 

Winchester is about 80 miles south of Fort Wayne on US 27 close to the Ohio line.
