Does anyone know if there is some type of aftermarket shifter to replace the original warrior shifter. i want to get rid of all that stupid linkage in order to modify my footpegs so that they wont bend. i was thinking about just bending the original and welding the piece that goes on the shift shaft to the shifter. has anyone done this, any recommendations. i have to do this somehow, because my footpegs keep bending.

thanks

it isn't the actual peg part but the flat steel part that the mounting bolts go through. i think i am just going to cut off the pivot for the shifter, straighten the piece, and weld a new piece on, making it twice as thick, and just get longer bolts for it. if i had the money, i would try to get nerf bars for it, i think they might help to reinforce that piece.
