Default Warrior rear shock....YFZ??????

I have searched to no end on this topic to no avail. Does anyone know if a YFZ450 rear shock will work on the rear? I know about the 01 Rappy shock, problem is I don't want to buy a 6 year old shock, and I can't afford a $500 new one. I understand the Banshee rear will work, but what about the 02 and up Raptor shock? I don't see why it won't work, other than some airbox issues. I can modify or make a new airbox! Anybody know about this one?

I would have to agree with your instincts and say that it shouldn't be a problem as long as you can get one.

the airbox isn't the issue... the swingarm is the isuse... the rezzy hits it... and 01 rear raptor shocks are 100% rebuildable.. ssoo if u want to spendthe $100 to get it rebuilt.. you'll have a brand new shock for a lot less than $500

Well that's not good. How about a late Banshee unit? Will those work?

I'm pretty sure all banshee shocks are the same. They'll all work.
