Im going to be getting a new quad soon and i dont no what one i should get? I will be racing and i will do trail riding through the woods and these are what i am thinking of. (YFZ or 450r or KFX450 or LTR 450) And i have ridden the Raptor 700 but i really dont like it. Any suggestions would be awsome. Thanks

If youre going to be doing trail riding then the LTR450 is out because it the widest of the bunch and would be a pain in the woods, My YFZ is pretty decent in the woods but can be a handful in the really tight stuff, and Ive ridden the 450R and it is better in the woods but doesnt handle and good as the YFZ on a track (stock), the one I rode felt tippy. Then theres the KFX and from the specs ive seen on it is goint to be a pretty sick machine... If youre looking for something immediately then I would say go with a YFZ, its fast, handles great and ive never had any problems with mine. But if you can wait, it might be a good idea to wait for the KFX, if the kfx is a hit then all of the companies will add reverse and fuel injection on their 450's.

I'm happy with my YFZ...I ride with 4 other guys that have YFZs, they are track and trail proven & if you want after market parts for racing you'll have no problem finding them.
My previous sport ride was a Predator....Yuk!!
I always recommend staying away from the first year of a new model of anything

I ride with a few guys who have YFZs and they all have some serious hours on them and get the sh*t ridden out of them. I also have one but don't ride nearly as hard as those guys.
Good machines, they are very reliable. Plus they handle like they're on rails and jump very well. They are fun in the trails too. That would be my recommendation. Unles you are going to wait a few months, then I would say get the KFX. If I were buying a new machine that would probably be it.
