i know on my grizz sometimes i have to rock it back and forth for it to go into park properly. As for the problem with the rest of the gears you moght have stretched the brake cable and just need to have it adjusted so it is a little tighter. I had had mine done at the dealer when it went in for the valve adjustments and it has not had a problem going into gear since.
Hope this helps.

Have a look at the shift linkage to see if it is loose where it hooks to the transmission. Mine kept coming loose and I had to keep tightening it, the last time I put Loc Tite on it and it hasn't loosened in more than a year. Just something to look at. I do have to rock it to get into park sometimes.

mine has always been tough too....and still is. I'm gonna have to check out any tips we get on this when the weather gets better for workin on it. I gotta really mash down on both the foot brake and hand brake to shift, and always have to roll it back and forth to get it in and out of park.

yea.....its like I can't get the foot brake down far enough to allow it to shift. I gotta grab the hand brake too while I'm standing on the foot brake to get enough brake engagement to allow it to shift. Whats the best repair manual to get for these machines to start doing everything yourself? The dealer wants way too much bucks for even the 80 hour check...like darn near $400!
