My 2001 Warrior with FMF, jet kit, and K&N would hit around 62mph ...... I think hitting 70 would be a pretty big stretch for any Warrior unless there was engine work.

Yeah, Id say 65 mph tops. A completely stock Warrior will only do about 55. I had a Warrior with about the same mods as yours and a plus 1 tooth gear in the front, and I could only get 65 out of it at the local 1/8 mile dragstrip.

Mine is stock with the exception of a White Bros. E Series and 22" holeshots and topped out with a GPS showed 65.x. I dont know how much more it would gain if I went up a tooth on the front. It might not even pull it. Without bigger tires or a larger front sprocket I don't see it running over 65.

If I were you Oddy I would gear it higher so that it would do 70. This would be good on the warrior because it has 6 gears so the first few would still be great for the woods and when you hit a straight you could not only go fast but you can shift it to 6th and have an overdive where the engine isnt reving to the moon to go 45-55. Running the Warrior and Wolverine at those high rpm's all day long is notoriously hard on the valvetrain.

You should have the power to pull it ok considering you arent a huge guy. Its always been recommended that light or mild warriors respond great to a +1 front sprocket anyway.

I GPS's my 01 warrior at 58 mph. I was running on packed sand and had K&N and the baffle out of the stock exhaust.
