what quad
#1
I have a few questions I know this is a yamaha forum. I have always had honda quads. I am looking for a new quad for racing / dunes/ woods.
I am leaning towards the 450r however after reading the reviews it seems like the 450yzf is decent. suzuki isn't in the picture. I don't know if it is one of those or 660 raptor. Just want some honest answers
Thanks

I have ridden both a yfz450 and a few different trx450r's. I like the handling better on the yfz450. I would wait until the Kawasaki kfk450 comes out. I believe, if I am not mistaken, that it is scheduled to be released in Feburary.

They....
Weigh more
Have less power
Have less upgrades
I search all the forums and I see by far more "help me" type posts in the kawasaki and polaris forums than anywhere else. My friends grandpa has 3 polaris machines all newer than my friends banshee. He maintains all of them just as well as the shee yet they ALWAYS take an hour or 2 out of out riding weekends doing repairs or trying to get them to start. The shee has never once given us any hastle.
