You can try a new clutch. They will help.

There is Tusk ( I would not recommend it as much, though it is cheaper ): $35

There is also EBC$84


The best clutch you could buy would be a Magura Hydraulic Clutch$200

You can try a new piston kit.

There is Wiseco ( I highly recommend Wiseco ) Wiseco$70



You could try changing rear/front sprockets. I can't really help you there. Ask around, or look on www.rockymountainatv.com.

You can also try tires. Depending on what type of riding you do, you will want different types of tires. For most off-road riding, try a set of ITP Holeshot tires. They run $50 - $60. For ON-ROAD racing, try some Carlisles. They are $40 -$55.

 

You can open up the air box and have the bike re-jetted, hotter plug, make sure you keep your filter clean and oiled, make sure your chain adjuster are aligned and your chain is lubed, make sure your tire preasures are good.

You can get a Cobra silencer for around $100 or better yet look around for a ful exhaust (used) $100 or so.

 

Pipe before anything

Heres our list:
1) used pipe - we gave 50 bucks for a Pro circuit
2) 28mm carb from a RM 85 - 25 bucks from e-bay (15 for the carb, 10 for shipping)
3) 15 for new throttle cable. But an Warrior cable will work.
4) shave the head 30 thousandths. -approx. 40-50 bucks (maybe less)
5) oil injection block off - free
6) G3 reeds - 85 bucks shipped from e-bay
7) drill 1" dia holes in air box lid - free
8) uni air filter - 30 bucks
Ours runs really well. My son wants a 3mm stroker crank for his birth day. They are about 200 bucks. But I would get the pipe before I spent to much on any of the others first.

 

where did ya get the pipe for 50 bucks?

 

The single biggest increase you can get without spending lots is with a pipe. Forget spending money on all those other things which will make very small increases and watch ebay for a used pipe. Doesn't really matter what brand. You can come up with a cruddy looking pipe and silencer for a hundred bucks or so you are miles ahead, and it will feel like you doubled the power.

 

We bought the pipe from a neighbor that just blew his blaster up. The kids mom would not give him the money to fix it so he started parting it out. There are lots of used pipes out there, just keep an eye out. Cash in hand says alot when buying used.

 

get an fmf fatty exhaust it or a k&n filter. the k&n filter won't add as much power but will give it more than you have now. plus the k&n filter is 75$ or something like that. correct me if i'm wrong.

 

Ok..In case I wasn't specific enough in my post(s) above ( apparently I wasn't? ), here is what you should get, in priority.

1. A pipe. FMF. Toomey, or Pro circuit, in that order, IMO.
2. Air filter. K&N or Uni. Uni is cheaper.
3. Doesn't really matter what you get after that, I listed plenty of options in my above post(s)
