is there any difference in a 01 and a 99 yamaha warrior 350? As far as power, gearing, ect....

I guess the reason I ask is someone want to trade me a 99 warrior with full fmf exhaust, nerf bars, renthal handle bars, raptor 660 wheels and tires for my pretty much stock 01 warrior. Would you guys trade or not?

 

id go with the one in better condition, mechanically the bikes are the same

Sounds like something fishy going on with that other guy! Why would he want to trade? Theres really no difference in the bikes but the year number. He probably wouldnt trade if he wasnt going to gain anything out of the deal, so if youre happy with yours, you might be better off to hang on to it.

 

He probably knows it's about due for a bunch of work, and is trying to get it out of his hands before the time comes to pay out the wazoo for repairs. Keep yours unless you really know and trust this person, because something doesn't sound right.

 

He just traded a polaris for the warrior about 2 weeks ago. He told me he wanted a newer model, that all he has had all his life are 80 and 90 model atv's. Sounds lame to me.

 

Sounds lame to me , too. You better hang on to yours before you wind up with a piece! And tell that guy theres nothing wrong with 80s & 90s model bikes!
