IM with him ^^^^^ get the Z400 it's faster than the 400ex and is wayyyy more up to date it rides so much better power spreads through all the gears I personaly would not trade my raptor 350 for a 400ex ive ridden all three and I was just sad when i rode the Z400 i wanted it so bad the power is just awesome and the seat was nice and wide and it just felt great!!!!

 

Just think about this for a min..

What about a bone stock banshee...Not alot of power..you can handle it in the trails..and when you get use to it..put some pipes on it..a air intake..Then you will be running with the 450s..And when you get ready to just blow them out of the water..do a little port work and maybe a cool head...

Just a ideal..

 

The only problem with the banshee is you have to buy two of everything. They don't make them anymore and they aren't that great of a trail bike. Poor handling characteristics. Less shock travel, crappy chain adjustment and air filter setup.

I'm not trying to slam the banshee, becuase it has it's place. They're great for the dunes, great for drag racing, and I think they make a good TT/Flat track quad.

IF I had 6K laying around, I would definately not be buying a 400EX. I wouldn't buy a Polaris, and I wouldn't buy a Raptor 350. A new Z400 would be in the bed of my truck.

Just my opinion though

 

If you liked the seating of the Rappy then you just have to try the Z400,,with out question one of the best Trail machines out there ..my .02
