Default Looking for some advice

Ok I know everyone is tired of these post but I just have a general question about testing a stator. As many have had the same problem, I have no spark for my 99 Grizzly 600. I have power coming from my charging side of my stator but on the pick-up coil side I do not get anything when I try and start my grizzly. The main question is should I not be getting some kind of power pulse from the pick-up coil (red and white wires)? I have checked the resistance on both and they are fine but I have read so many post were the resistance was fine but the stator was still bad. I do not want to spend the big money on a stator if that is not the problem.
