Get a pair of needle nose pliers and try to pull the porclin out, you may have to spin it but it will come out. Then tap in a straight flute Easyout and back it out. A 3/8ths easy out was the best for my plugs, just make sure its not so long that you break of the electrode on the end of the plug. Soaking it with some liquid wrench helps.
I had five out ten break off in my dually last year and I got the all out as easy as that.

Just make sure you don't chip or shatter the porclin. You don't want any of it falling into the cylinder.
Check and make sure it's whole before you toss it. Adding a little never sieze helps but I have a feeling you torqued it to tight right from the get go.

Working with broken porcelain is a pain.. Something is very wrong if a new plug got stuck enough for you to bust the hex off it. See if its lose with the pliers. Maybe you will get lucky and it will be lose since its missing the seat.... otherwise it might be striped or something else. In that case, A head gasket is 10 bucks (Yamaha OEM). Remove the head and take your time getting the plug out. The money spent on a new head gasket is worth it.. if you drop crap into the cylinder it could fall into the ports and then have its way with the crank before being sucked into the cylinder to visit the piston/bore. If needed, I can send you all the proper steps for removing and reinstalling the head. With the head off you have the option getting a closer look and removing it clean... or just taking it to an real engine shop. Dealers are a bad place to have things fixed like that.. A racing/machine shop will fix a plug thread for $20 if you drop the head off but the dealer will do nothing short of offer you a brand new head. (150 bucks by the way).
