Default TUNE UP (93' Kodiak)

hey guys we have a 1993 yamaha kodiak and well we never really did a tune up on it...ever. I know its not good to no tune it up but it allways runs great and we never really bothered doing it. Should we change the diff. fluid and tranny fluid?? what will we have to change on it?? i know it needs a battery because it just clicks when you hit the button. Any info would be great.

Thanks,

David C.

SEAFOAM! go to your local autoparts store and look into a can of seafoam for 5 bucks. Its a carb/fuel injector claener that works amazing. I just started using it in my truck, bike and quad. After you pour it in the carb/fuel injectors itll smoke for a good 3-5 minutes. Just pure carbon buildup getting out of your engine.

If you wanna use the foam, use it before the rest of the tuneup. Ride the quad for an hour or so. Then do the plugs and fluid changes.

If you wanna give it a shot let me know and I can give you some step-by-step instructions.

Im not sure but I think your tranny fluid and oil are the same thing. You need to use oil that is motorcycle compatible when you do the fluid swap. If you wanna keep things simple buy amsoil 0w40 it will work in any transmission or motor and everything else except as a mix.
